One New COVID-19 Related Death, 15 Positive Cases Reported Monday

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department announced 15 new cases of COVID-19, and one new COVID-19 related death in the county Monday. That breaks down to eight positive cases Saturday, five positive cases Sunday, and two positives on Monday.
That brings the county’s total to 795 since the pandemic began.
Of those cases, 17 have died; 640 have recovered.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of an additional COVID-19 related death within
Dubois County, At this time we keep their friends and families in our thoughts and prayers,
“said Dr. Ted Waflart “This serves as an unfortunate reminder to all of the Dubois County
community about the importance of following the recommended guidelines to stop the
spread of this virus and help protect our most vulnerable neighbors. We cannot stress
enough for you all to wear a mask when around others, practicing social distancing, wash
your hands frequently and if tested remain at home until you have received your results.”
