Officials Announce Another Community Dairy and Produce Giveaway This Week

JASPER -- Prairie Farms Dairy and Gleaners are partnering up with churches in Dubois County for another Community Dairy and Produce Giveaway.

Each family or individual will receive one box of diary items and one box of produce.  No registration required.

Items include French onion dip, sour cream, cream cheese, different flavors of milk, apples, oranges, potatoes, and other produce.

The giveaway will be Wednesday in two locations:  At Redemption Christian Church at 1450 Energy Drive.  A second location will be set up at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 1029 Kundeck Street.

Parking lots at both locations will open at 2:30 p.m. No sooner.  *** For St. Joseph Church, line up will be at the Municipal Swimming Pool. ***

Drive-thru distribution will begin between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Both locations will have the same number of boxes.

Drivers can expect delays in the area Wednesday afternoon as there is typically a large response to the giveaway.
