NWS Issues Fire Weather Watch for WITZ Listening Area

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Southern Indiana and most of central Kentucky.

* WIND...Southwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 20 to 25 percent in the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...any fires that start will likely spread rapidly.  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
