North Carolina Man Refuses Search Warrant in Jasper
Jasper- A North Carolina man is facing four charges following a traffic stop.
According to a press release, officers with the Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop late Monday night. During the stop, officers noticed the driver, Robert Martin, showed signs of impairment.
Martin refused a chemical test. Officers requested and were approved a search warrant. Martin would then refuse the warrant.
Officers eventually did search Martin’s vehicle and located drugs and paraphernalia. He was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center on the charges below.

- Obstruction of Justice
- Operating while Intoxicated
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Paraphernalia
