New Appliance and Cabinet Store Coming to Jasper

Jasper- The City of Jasper is adding more options for appliance and cabinet customers.

King’s Home Furnishings and Designs will be moving into the former Videotech building on North Newton Street. 

“We are excited to be able to bring such a unique Product to the Jasper area to serve and provide for the great folks of Dubois County and surrounding areas,” said Matt Stoll, local owner of King’s Home Furnishings Design, “Our strategic focus is on presenting customers with a well-curated selection of products while maintaining a high standard of customer service.”

According to a release, the company is an appliance and custom cabinet dealer. They have stores in Indiana and Illinois.

Employees from Videotech will be retained, according to officials. 

Larry Verkamp, the former owner of Video Tech Direct Maytag, says “The new ownership, composed of a younger generation, is set to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the table, driving the store’s evolution in various aspects.”

King’s will feature many of the popular brands like GE, Thermador, KitchenAid, and Whirlpool. Bedding, furniture and electronics will also be sold.

An opening date has not been announced.
