Missouri Man Arrested for Fleeing Accident in Jasper

According to a press release from the Jasper Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Jasper Walmart at approximately 7:30 p.m. last Thursday evening. The caller reported being struck by another vehicle which then fled the scene.

After obtaining security images from the Walmart, officers tracked down Rick Stafford, 41, of Webb City, Missouri. Police were able to match images to his vehicle, located at a local Super 8.

Stafford was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
