Meteorologists Warn Southern Indiana Could See Flooding in the Coming Days

FROM LOCAL SOURCES

STATEWIDE-- Much of Indiana will be seeing rain over the next few days, says the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

"The more widespread rain will probably Friday afternoon into Saturday night. We're looking at anywhere from 1-2 inches in the Indy metro area and 2-3 inches up near Lafayette and Kokomo by the time it's all said and done," says National Weather Service Indianapolis meteorologist Chad Swain.

He also says flooding is a concern in the southern part of the state since rivers are already high here.
