Memorial Hospital Offers Free Perinatal Services

Jasper – Memorial Hospital will be offering free Perinatal Services made possible by a grant.

As part of a federal grant from the Indiana Rural Health Association and in collaboration with Healthy Start Communities that Care, Memorial Hospital’s Perinatal Services offers free education and resources in English and Spanish to women, fathers and infants. 

Some of the services include education and support groups for before and after pregnancy, infant safety education, free diapers, free wipes, free sleep swaddles, free car seats, and mental and emotional support through home or office visits and check-ins. No referral is needed. 

The Perinatal Services team includes Social Worker Natalie Werner, Registered Nurses Patty Scherle and Kelsey Brinson, and Community Health Worker Crystal Loya.
