Memorial Day Domestic Incident Ends With Two Charges for Jasper Man

Jasper - An early-morning domestic dispute in Jasper on Memorial Day resulted in a felony and misdemeanor charge for a Jasper man.


Just prior to 5:30 a.m. on Memorial Day Monday, the Jasper Police Department responded to a Brucke Strasse residence after a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.


Police determined that Ronald Morgan, Jr., 36, of Jasper, had given a female multiple injuries during an altercation; police officials allege Morgan battered and verbally threatened the victim.

Morgan was charged with a felony count of Domestic Battery with Prior Conviction and a misdemeanor Intimidation charge.

Morgan was lodged into the Dubois county Security Center.
