Members of Evansville Philharmonic String and Brass Ensembles to Perform Classic Rock Hits at the Lincoln Amphitheatre
Lincoln City- Members of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra’s Eykamp String Quartet as well as members of the EPO’s brass ensemble will present “American Rock Roots” on Sunday, September 11, at 4 p.m. central time at the Lincoln Amphitheatre. Part of the Amphitheatre’s Amp Unplugged Sunday matinee series, the “American Rock Roots” set will feature string and brass versions of popular songs at the very root of the classic rock experience (AC/DC, Aerosmith, and more).
Amp Unplugged performances are for all ages with seating as general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concessions, including beer/wine for guests 21 and over, will be available.
The remaining 2022 Amp Unplugged Sunday performance will be Sunday, October 9, at 4 p.m. and will feature Duke Tumatoe & the Power Trio. Tumatoe has opened for the likes of Muddy Waters, George Thorogood, and John Fogerty and his songs are a mix of comedy and blues. He is also known for his regular performances on the Bob & Tom Show.
