Martin County School Placed on Lockdown Wednesday After Threat Was Called In

LOOGOOTEE -- Loogootee High School went into lockdown Wednesday after a threat was called in.

School officials say they immediately took action, implementing internal security procedures and calling police.

Officers searched the school and the lockdown was lifted a short time later.

Police now say they don’t believe the threat was credible.
