Man Slightly Injured After Falling Asleep Behind the Wheel and Crashing on U.S. 231

MARTIN COUNTY -- A Lynnville man received just minor injuries after falling asleep behind the wheel and crashing.

It happened Monday morning on U.S. 231 near Abel Lane in Martin County.

Police say 30-year-old Anthony McAtee was driving his GMC pickup when he fell asleep and went down an embankment before hitting another embankment head-on.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene but refused EMS transport.

The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
