Man Jailed on Drug Charges Following Weekend Traffic Stop in Huntingburg

HUNTINGBURG - A traffic stop turned into a drug bust over the weekend in Huntingburg. 

Maxwell Elliot was pulled over for a routine traffic stop early Saturday morning at the Main Street and 19th Street intersection. During the stop, the officer's K-9 detected drug activity. 

Officers conducted a search and found cocaine, THC wax, and paraphernalia in the car. 

Elliot was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
