Man Arrested for Outstanding Warrant, Possession Charges in Jasper

Jasper - On Wednesday night, Jasper Police arrested a man with an outstanding warrant in Crawford County on possession charges.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, Jasper Police Officers pulled over a 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada for a traffic infraction near the intersection of U.S. 231 and 12th Avenue. While conducting the traffic stop it was learned that the driver, identified as Jeromy W. Dean, 46, had an outstanding warrant out of Crawford County.

During the traffic stop, officers found six grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. 

Dean was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of paraphernalia. Dean was also cited for improper headlights, failure to register and operating with a false plate.
