Makin’ a Home on Pigeon Creek Begins Three Show Run This Thursday

Lincoln CityMakin’ a Home on Pigeon Creek will make its debut on Thursday, June 23, and run through Saturday, June 25, at the Lincoln Amphitheatre.  This season’s Lincoln production is presented by MasterBrand Cabinets and the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association and will celebrate in song and story the Lincoln family’s life and time spent in southern Indiana.

“The Lincoln Amphitheatre launched 35 years ago with the mission of telling the story of Abraham Lincoln’s most formative years (age 7 to 21) spent right here on the very ground our beautiful facility was built, as well as that of his family members and neighbors on and around nearby Pigeon Creek,” said Marc Steczyk, Lincoln Amphitheatre Director.  “We look forward to celebrating that life and those stories over the course of three nights this week and are hopeful that you can join us.”

Makin’ a Home on Pigeon Creek will celebrate 35 years of Lincoln Amphitheatre musicals by leaning on the most beloved songs from the venue’s historical cornerstones—1987’s Young Abe Lincoln and 2019’s Here I Grew Up—all while being guided by the steady hand, presence, and recollection of the 16th President himself.

General admission tickets are $19.95, there are senior ($16.95), veteran ($16.95), and group discounts available, children 12 and under get in free with a downloadable ticket.  Tickets for this and all Lincoln Amphitheatre events can be purchased at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com or by calling the box office at 812-937-2329.
