Lori Roberts visits museum as Martha Washington June 17
Dubois Co.- The Dubois County Museum welcomes local historian and educator, Lori Roberts, on Saturday, June 17, at 10:30 a.m. to present a program on America’s First Lady Martha Washington.
Ms. Roberts is the first of several speakers coming to the museum for our Summer Lecture Series on Historical Figures. Ms. Roberts will be visiting us as Martha Washington. She will be educating us on Martha’s life as First Lady of the United States and life in the early years of the United States. Our first lady will tell us about her life with George Washington and her busy life at Mount Vernon.
Ice cream will be served at the event in honor of the Washington’s love of the creamy treat.
