Local Student Commended in National Scholarship

Lincoln City- A Heritage Hills High School Student is being recognized for her academic excellence.

Bridget Flannagan has been named a Commended Student in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. Flannagan will receive a Letter of Commendation from the Heritage Hills and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The letter will be given to Flannagan by Principal Jeff Cochren.

While Flannagan is no longer in the running for the 2023 National Merit Scholarship awards, she is among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition. Entrance involves completion of taking Preliminary SAT/NMSQT tests.
