Local Schools Competing in Food Drive
Dubois County- The school districts of Dubois County are competing to see who can give the most food.
Greater Jasper, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest Dubois student councils are looking to give back this holiday season. Schools will be collecting non-parishable, unexpired food starting November 28th. Food can be dropped off at any of the districts high schools.
All the food donated will be given to local food banks and the Dove Recovery House for Women.
Some of the food they are requesting include rice, pasta, canned tomatoes, canned sauce, canned veggies, canned fruits, canned soups, mac/cheese, cereals, cereal bars, flour, sugar, oil, canned ravioli, and canned spaghettios. Cash donations will also be accepted.
The last day to donate is December 9th. For more information, contact Julie Ferguson at [email protected].
