Local Sailor Conducts Maintenance in Armory aboard USS Ronald Reagan

Local Sources- Shoals native, Gunner's Mate Seaman Apprentice Hunter Jones is seen doing maintenance work in the armory of the USS Rondald Reagan.

In the photo, Gunner’s Mate Seaman Apprentice Jones, cleans a Mark 38 receiver in the armory aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), in the San Bernardino Strait, July 30. 

Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
