Local Domino's Owner Receives Prestigious Award

Local Domino’s owner, Sam Duvall, was recently awarded the most prestigious honor bestowed on a Domino’s franchisee – The Gold Franny Award. Duvall earned this award as part of an elite group within about 740 franchise owners in the United States.

Duvall has been with Domino’s for almost 25 years and opened his first store in 2016. Since then, he has grown his franchise and now owns nine stores throughout Eastern Illinois and Southern Indiana. Among these nine stores, he oversees over 170 employees across various cities.

“As a Domino’s franchisee, I see that the American Dream is possible,” said Duvall. “Showing this to prospective future franchisees is very rewarding, and I have no lack of motivation to do a great job in my role.”

This is Duvalls’s second Gold Franny Award, recognized for his franchise’s operational audit scores, community involvement, store safety and security, and team member morale. Duvall is active within the communities his stores serve – hosting school fundraisers in multiple cities and store tours for the kindergarten classes every year at his Charleston location.

The Gold Franny Awards were created more than 40 years ago to honor excellence among franchise owners.
