Local Business Founder Passes at 83

Santa Claus- Judith “Judy” Ann Peters passed away Wednesday, June 14th at 83-years-old.

Peters was the co-founder of Charles W. Peters and Sons Trucking Company, Dinner Bell Cafe, and a co-owner of Family Roots Nursery. 

She will be laid to rest in her hometown of McLeansboro, Illinois on Sunday, June 18th. Local visitation is Sunday, June 18th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST. at the Nass and Son Funeral Home.
