Letter to the Editor

After the Primary Elections, WITZ received this letter from the Libertarian Party of Indiana.  It reads as follows:

With the primary season over, it is important to highlight the other major candidates running for statewide office who were nominated via convention. This past March of 2024, the Libertarian Party of Indiana held its annual convention to nominate state and Federal level candidates for the fall election. Below are the two statewide nominees. Donald Rainwater was voted to be the Libertarian Party nominee for Governor. Donald Rainwater ran in 2020, coming in second in 1/3 of Indiana counties, and received 25% of the Dubois County vote on election day, while finishing at 11% in the county. Tonya Hudson was voted in to be his running mate for the Lt. Governor position. Andrew Horning was picked to be the Libertarian US Senate candidate. Andrew has run for US Senate and US House of Representative positions in the past and is the true vote for protecting you from the federal government and your supporting your personal and property rights in Congress. The Libertarian Party of Dubois County wants you the voter to educated that you these choices in the fall. Before you resort to feeling you have no other choices than the same old candidates for the other major parties, you have excellent choices to be excited for! So, this fall, support and vote for Donald Rainwater for Governor and Andrew Horning for Senate. You will see them at our local parades and fairs this summer, so get excited for positive choices!
