JASPER -- Jasper-based Kimball International has unveiled its newly-renovated corporate headquarters.
A ribbon-cutting Tuesday evening marked the birth of a new working space for one of Dubois County’s largest employers.
"This is our business. We are in the business of turning, what we call spaces, real estate, interiors, into special places," says Kimball International’s Chief Administrative Officer Lonnie Nicholson. He says the company wanted to create environments that fuel organizational efficiency and attract and retain top talent.
" It's where our people work; where they're productive. We're inviting the community in, and not just for this open house, but an ongoing basis to enjoy what Kimball International brings to the community."

Wendy Murray is the Director of Marketing and Product Development at Kimball International. She says the renovations were made with both their customers and their employees in mind.
"We spent a lot of time interviewing our employees and making sure that we were able to adapt to all their needs," she explains. "Also, this is a showroom for our customers. So, we'll be bringing a lot of tours in, one to two a week, from all over the country, so we wanted to keep the design of a working showroom with our product in mind, but also meet the needs of our employees as well."
