AREAWIDE -- Hospital capacity in District 10 is reaching a critical level, according to new data released Wednesday afternoon by state health officials.

Just 11% of the district's ICU beds are currently available due, in large part, to the surge of COVID-19 patients occupying those local beds.

Nearly 75% of the District's ventilators are currently available.  Only 11% of the ventilators that are in use are helping to treat COVID-19 patients.

Locally, District 10 includes Dubois, Daviess, Martin, Pike, Perry, and Spencer Counties and points west.
