Juneteenth Celebration Coming to Jasper
Jasper - A Juneteenth Celebration is coming to Jasper.
The public is invited to join Jasper Community Arts in celebrating Juneteenth Freedom Day in the Atrium in the Thyen-
Clark Cultural Center.
Enjoy an afternoon celebrating the anniversary of June 19, 1865, and annual holiday
commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
The afternoon will be filled with delish soul food samplings and the sound of gospel singers while
learning the history of the holiday from guest speakers.
The event is family-friendly, open to all ages and FREE.
