JPD: Woman Found with More than just stolen car

Jasper- Jasper Police say 37-year-old Britney Fisher had more than just a stolen vehicle in her possession.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a suspected stolen Jeep Patriot Sunday at Newton and E. 37th Streets. During the stop, police learned Fisher had a warrant from an unspecified county and had a suspended license. A search was conducted and located several illegal items.

During the search officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, legend drugs, and paraphernalia belonging to Fisher. 

Britney Fisher of Evansville was charged with:

• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of a Legend Drug
• Possession of Paraphernalia
• Theft
• Driving while suspended- Prior

Fisher was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
