JPD: Woman Arrested for Drugs after False Informing

Jasper- A Jasper woman is facing two charges after she called police on Monday night.

Officials with the Jasper Police department say they were dispatched to the Vine Street Lofts after receiving a call from Michelle Stephens. The nature of the call was not disclosed. 

When Officers arrived they found a controlled substance in Stephens’ possession. They also determined the initial call to be false.

Stephens was arrested and transported to the Dubois County Security Center on charges of being in possession of a Controlled Substance and False Informing.
