JPD: Woman accused of Strangling Son

Jasper- Jasper Police say 42-year-old Jessica Preston was arrested after reports of an attempted strangulation.

JPD officers responded to a victim’s residence at 11:20 PM Sunday, where they were told Preston battered and attempted to strangle her son.

Officers located Preston at her residence, and through an investigation, arrested her for Class A Misdemeanor Battery and Level 6 Felony Strangulation.

She was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.
