JPD: Tip leads to OWI Arrest

Jasper- A citizen tip led to an OWI arrest, according to police.

Officers report receiving the tip Tuesday at 8:49 PM. The complainant stated there was a possible impaired driver on North Portersville Road.

Officers located the driver, identified as Aristides Castillo, and conducted an OWI investigation. Following their investigation, police determined Castillo to be impaired.

Castillo was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated with a BAC of over .15%. He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
