JPD: Teen Arrested on Felony Marijuana Charge

Jasper- A traffic stop in Jasper led to the arrest of an 18-year-old for felony marijuana possession.

JPD says at 1:38 AM Wednesday morning, officers conducted a traffic stop on a Gray Toyota Camry. The driver was identified as 18-year-old Jesse Solano of Jasper.

Police say when talking with Solano, a strong odor of marijuana was sensed. A search of Solano’s vehicle was done, and marijuana and paraphernalia were found.

Solano was arrested and transported to the Dubois County Security Center, facing Level 6 Felony Possession of Marijuana and Class C Misdemeanor Possession of Paraphernalia charges.
