JPD: Rollover Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

Jasper- A rollover accident in Jasper sent two people to the hospital, reports Jasper Police.

Officials say on September 21st, 72-year-old Patricia Shickinger was attempting to turn left onto East 4th street from the Newton Street intersection. When Shickinger turned, a collision occurred with 61-year-old Lisa Wehr, who was traveling North on Newton Street. 

Wehr’s vehicle collided with the right side of Shickinger’s vehicle, causing it to rollover and entrap Shickinger. Emergency crews arrived on scene and extracted Shickinger and transported her to Memorial Hospital for injuries. Wehr was also taken to Memorial for injuries sustained in the crash. 

Both vehicles were deemed totaled by officials.
