JPD: Missouri Man Arrested on Drug Charges
Jasper- JPD arrested a Missouri man on several drug charges Saturday.
A traffic stop in the Schroeder Sports Complex led to the discovery, said police officials. Officers pulled 35-year-old Stephen Gibson over for a non-legible license plate.
During the stop, officers report a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search revealed heroin, meth, raw marijuana, marijuana wax, and illegal paraphernalia.
Gibson was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center. He faces charges of Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class B Misdemeanor), Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor).
Gibson’s passenger, Brandi Brown was found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued a summons.
