JPD: Man Arrested after Smoking Marijuana in Jasper Park

Jasper- Jasper Police report responding to reports of a man who was smoking marijuana in Buehler Park.

JPD officials say 19-year-old Deontae Wigodinski is accused of smoking marijuana in the park. A bystander reported to officers that while several children were playing at the park, one of them brought her a pack of swisher sweet cigarettes that contained a marijuana cigarette.

Officials believe Wigodinski placed the pack on the playground equipment when they arrived. 

He was taken to the Dubois County Security Center for charges of Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Recklessness.
