JPD: Intoxicated Driver leads to Accident

Jasper- Jasper Police report a single vehicle accident on Sunday morning.

JPD officers responded to the accident at West 6th Street and St. Charles Street. There, they located a black 1999 Ford Ranger that had struck a utility pole and two individuals they believed to have been in the truck.

During their investigation, officers determined the driver, Jud K. Goodness, was intoxicated. Goodness and his passenger were transported to Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.

Goodness is facing charges of OWI with Endangerment, and OWI.
