JPD: Drugs and Suspended license found after accident

Jasper- Drugs and a suspended license were found after a driver left the scene of an accident. 

Saturday afternoon Jasper police responded to an accident at Wernsing Road and US 231. Officers say prior to their arrival, one of the drivers, David Bozell, fled the scene on foot.

A perimeter was set up around a corn field and JPD utilized their bloodhound to search and locate Bozell. Police say they located methamphetamine and paraphernalia during the search. Bozell is also said to have a suspended license.

Bozell is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and driving while suspended-prior.
