JPD: 17th Street Siren Temporarily Out of Service

Jasper- The Jasper Police Department says the weather siren on 17th Street is temporarily out of service due to repairs.

JPD is working with their vendor on repairs.

Residents are encouraged to have a NOAA weather radio, with fresh batteries, or have some form of notification should severe weather arise in the area. 

A time estimate on the repairs was not disclosed.
