JPD makes an arrest

On 06-26-2024 officers with the Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intercetion of US 231 and Indiana. After further investigation David Porter was found to be in violation of his driving conditions. During the stop a K9 officer was contacted which resulted in a positive indication by K9 Gator on the presence of illegale narcotics. After a search of the vehicle Methamphetamine and other illegal narcotics were located. Poter was transported to the Dubois County Security Center and charged on the following charges.
