JDCPL Releases New Language Learning Resource

 In an effort to empower our community with diverse language skills and foster cultural enrichment, The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library is thrilled to announce the launch of Mango Languages, a cutting-edge language learning platform. 

Mango Languages is an interactive, user-friendly online resource that provides access to language courses in more than 70 languages, including Spanish, English, German, and many more. Whether you are a beginner looking to grasp basic phrases or an advanced learner aiming for fluency, Mango Languages offers a comprehensive and engaging curriculum suitable for all levels. 

Key features of Mango Languages include: 
1. Intuitive Learning Paths: Tailored courses cater to various proficiency levels and learning objectives, ensuring a customized language learning experience for every individual. 
2. Real-Life Conversations: Mango Languages focuses on practical language skills through real-life conversations and cultural insights, making the learning process both enjoyable and effective. 
3. Free Access: JDCPL cardholders can access Mango Languages for free using their desktop computer or the app. 
4. Engaging Learning Tools: The platform includes interactive tools such as voice comparison, pronunciation practice, and language and culture specialty courses, enhancing the overall learning experience. 

To create an account, library patrons should visit jdcpl.us/research-learning/ & click the Mango Languages link. Once an account has been created, patrons can log in on the Mango app.
