Jasper Woman Arrested on Sexual Misconduct Charges

Jasper - A Jasper woman was arrested on three charges for an incident involving a minor.

On Sunday, at approximately 12:36 p.m., the Jasper Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of Dewey Street in reference to a fight in progress.

Officers arrived on scene and all parties involved were separated. Upon investigation, Officers determined the disturbance stemmed from an alleged misconduct between an adult and a juvenile that occurred the previous night on New Year's Day. Parties involved were transported to the Jasper Police Department for interviews.

Madisen Mitchell, 18, of Jasper, was charged with Child Molesting (Level 4 Felony), Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (Level 6 Felony) and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor (Class A Misdemeanor). Mitchell was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.
