Jasper Woman Arrested on Four Charges in Sunday Night Impaired DrivingTraffic Stop

Jasper - A Jasper woman was held on four charges stemming from an impaired driving call on Sunday night.

Just after 10:15 p.m., the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to a subject who was possibly driving impaired with a juvenile in the vehicle. 

The Jasper Police Department located the vehicle, driven by Abigail Maitlen, 19 of Jasper, in the 1400 block of Newton Street. 

Upon further investigation, officers say Maitlen demonstrated signs of impairment and was transported to Memorial Hospital where the subject tested positive for MDMA, amphetamines, marijuana, and methamphetamine. 

Maitlen was lodged into the Dubois County Security Center and charged with OWI, A misdemeanor, OWI, Level 6 felony, possession of a legend drug, and neglect of a dependent.
