Jasper - The Jasper River Centre will be hosting a public open house Saturday, May 29th from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

"A lot of people have called us Jasper's best kept secret," said Jasper River Centre Community Manager Keelie Dall. "We don't want to be a secret anymore. We want people to know where we are, what we do, and what we're all about.

Saturday, tours will be available for the second- and third-floor apartment complex, boasting 76 units finished in modern and contemporary styles. Both floors have Community Rooms - available for residents and event rentals within the community.

30,000 square feet of commercial space has attracted St. Benedict's Brew Works, FitFuel Nutrition + Fitness + Cryotherapy, and Fueled Strength Meals on the first floor.

The only current construction to be found, is by looking up.

"So, we're actually in the thick of our construction, we have a rooftop bar called High Pointe," said Dall. "Right now, we're putting a roof on our rooftop, so then we can have events all year round.

The rooftop features views of downtown Jasper and the River Walk. Having living space and amenities in one complex was no coincidence, Dall said.

"Our hopes were that people could rent with us, as an apartment, they could either walk down to get whatever they need on our bottom commercial space, or they could walk to the square," Dall said. "Our goal is that people can come, stay, play, and live."

On site, the River Centre is home to an AstroTurf-lined Bark Park for the furry residents, and for those who are visiting, an 84-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.

Saturday's Open House is free to attendees and does not require registration.
