Jasper- The Jasper Library has announced the August Library events.
Family Storytime Starting August 23rd – Tuesdays at 10am
Genealogy Help Desk- Tuesdays Beginning Aug. 9
th – 10am 4pm
MakerSpace Office Hours - Wednesdays & Thursdays from 1-4pm
- MakerSpace Office Hours allow Makers to stop by and get more assistance with DIY projects
and get answers to questions. Staff will be in the MakerSpace during this time to offer a
little more one-on-one time. Call ahead or drop by for help.
Curiosity Café for Teens- Beginning Aug. 11th Thursdays at 4pm
- Teens will enjoy a variety of different activities each week including: snacks, crafts, and
games.
Teen Crafternoon- Monday, August 1st at 4pm
-All teens & tweens are invited to create their own personal journal. This is a drop-in style craft.
Bad Art Day (Grades K-4)- Monday, August 8th at 2pm
-Kids will have fun with this Bad Art program of designing a “bad” or unusual project with materials
supplied. The participants will judge their favorite one, and the one that gets the most votes will win a
prize. Please Register.
Summer Craft Night- Tuesday, August 9th at 6pm
-All teens and adults are invited to join us for a free crafting night! We are making some end of summer
garden decorations. Please Register.
Intro to Computers- Wednesday, August 10th at 2pm
Learn Computer Basics. Please Register.
Baby Playtime- Thursday, August 11th at 10am
-We invite parents/caregivers and their little ones for some socializing during our Playtime. Age appropriate toys and books will be available in the programming room to enjoy some time with other

Afternoon Book Club- Thursday, August 11th at 3pm
-New members are welcome. Pick up a copy of the book at the library.
Makerspace Photo & Document Scanning Demo- Thursday, August 11th at 6pm
-See how easy it is to digitize your family photos and historical documents. No registration needed.
Farmers Market Storytime – Saturday, August 13th at 10am
-Storytime outside by the Farmers Market.
Beginning Sewing (Ages 13+) - Monday, August 15th at 6pm
-Learn how to sew a simple pillowcase. All materials provided
