Jasper Police make Early Morning Arrest

Jasper- The Jasper Police made an arrest after a brief search Monday morning.

Officers responded to a 9-1-1 hangup call around 11:15 PM Sunday night near Kuper Lane. Upon arrival, they determined a domestic battery incident had occurred and the suspect left the area. 

A little over an hour later officers located the suspect, 40-year-old Jaime Alonso Guillen Castro, near 7th and Bartley Streets. Castro was taken into custody.

He is charged with Strangulation, Domestic Battery and Resisting Law Enforcement.
