Jasper Pedestrian Hurt in Early Morning Hit-and-Run, Police Search For Suspect

JASPER -- The Jasper Police Department is investigating a Personal Injury Accident that occurred at the
intersection of 9th Street/Main Street at approximately 5:15 a.m. on December 7, 2019.
The accident
involved a silver or gray van that struck a pedestrian crossing the street.
The van left the scene after
briefly checking on the injured pedestrian.
The van was last seen northbound on Newton Street from the 9th Street intersection. No information about the driver or vehicle was shared at the scene.
