Jasper PD: Man Arrested for Battery, other violent crimes

Jasper- 53-year-old Daniel Voight is facing a number of violent crime charges.

Jasper Police confirmed they responded to a battery incident on Vine Street Saturday night. Officials say Voight is accused of battering a female victim.

Voight was located and apprehended. 

He faces charges of strangulation, domestic battery with prior conviction, domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, multiple counts of disorderly conduct, and intimidation.
