Jasper Man Facing Seven Charges with More Pending
Jasper- A Jasper man is facing a slew of charges stemming from a domestic dispute call.
On Saturday morning just before 2:30am, The Jasper Police Department was called to Newton Street for a physical domestic dispute.
According to a press release, upon arrival 45-year-old Jonathon Holt resisted officers. During the struggle, officers deployed a Taser to take him into custody.
After further investigation, Holt was arrested and charged with the charges below:
- Three (3) Counts Domestic Battery
- Strangulation
- Battery on Law Enforcement
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Intimidation
- Disorderly Conduct
- Other Pending Charges
He was taken and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
