Jasper Man Faces Felony Charges for Sunday Morning Domestic Dispute

Jasper - Early Sunday morning, Jasper Police Department was dispatched to an active physical domestic on Maute Street.

Upon investigation, it was determined that James Shaw had battered his spouse in front of minors. James Shaw was charged with two felony counts:  strangulation, and domestic battery in the presence of a minor. Shaw was also charged for interference with the reporting of a crime.
