Jasper Man Arrested on Two Charges in Vandalism Incident

Jasper - A Jasper man was arrested on Friday morning for vandalism and violating a protective order.

On Friday morning, Jasper Police Officers responded to a call for vandalism which occurred in the overnight hours on Thursday. Police officials did not release the location of the vandalized residence.

After an investigation, officers determined that Travis Voegerl, 43, of Jasper, had vandalized the residence prior to sending text messages to an individual whom had a protective order against him.

Voegerl was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor counts of Invasion of Privacy and Criminal Mischief.
