Jasper Man Arrested on Two Charges After Tuesday Domestic Incident

After a report of a physical domestic incident came in at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday night, Jasper Police Officers arrived on scene. At the Badendorf Apartments on Baden Strasse, officers found David Schaad, 53, of Jasper, at the scene.

Through an investigation, officers determined that Schaad had struck an individual at the apartment complex. Police discovered that there was an active protection order between Schaad and the person he had struck.

Schaad was taken to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with misdemeanor counts of Domestic Battery and Invasion of Privacy.
