Jasper Man Arrested on Strangulation and Other Charges After Overnight Incident

JASPER -- Police arrested a Jasper man Tuesday night on multiple charges after police say he battered and strangled another man.

It happened around 10 p.m. near Picadilly Circle in Jasper.

Police say 29-year-old Justin Cavins was also driving drunk.  A chemical test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .16.

He was arrested and charged with Battery, Strangulation, OWI and Theft.
